We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join our Trevolution team within Dyninno Group travel division.
Trevolution is a global leader in air ticketing and travel services, serving retail and corporate clients in 50+ markets. As the 4th-largest US airline ticket consolidator, we partner with 70+ airlines, offering a full booking experience with expert support – focused on value and convenience. Our products, including online sales, call bookings, and semi-OTAs, are continually expanding to meet market trends.
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the technical strategy and roadmap, aligning engineering goals with overall projects goals
- Managing multiple development teams, including engineers (directly), QA and DevOps personnel (matrix).
- Establish and maintain technical standards, best practices, and methodologies across teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, design teams and business stakeholders to prioritize and deliver technical initiatives.
- Ensure effective management of technical projects, maintaining accountability for timelines, resource allocation, and performance.
- Oversee the scalability, performance, and security of systems
- Drive continuous improvement through adoption of new technologies, processes, and engineering practices.
- Lead cross-functional engineering teams, coordinating dependencies and collaboration effectively.
- Foster a culture of transparency, and excellence within the engineering department.
- Regularly evaluate team performance, provide mentorship, and support professional development of engineering staff.
Requirements:
- Proven senior-level experience as Engineering Manager, or similar role supervising multiple engineering teams, preferably within Travel (OTA), E-commerce, or related industries.
- Strong expertise in software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban) and modern software engineering practices.
- Extensive knowledge of modern technology stacks, system architecture, microservices, cloud solutions, and scalable applications.
- Demonstrated capability in managing large engineering teams and delivering complex technical projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align engineering goals with strategic business objectives.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills, ensuring data-driven decision-making and solution-oriented approaches.
- Capacity to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field preferred.
- Proactive and strategic mindset, anticipating challenges and opportunities, with the initiative to drive actionable outcomes.
Compensation:
The starting point for this position is no less than 5,000 EUR Gross per month.
