As a Financial Controller you will be responsible for hands-on operational finance tasks with participation in system, process, and automation projects.
Responsibilities:
Operations financial control, data collection and statistics:
- Weekly payment collection and requests from group entities (various countries and business units).
- Validate payments by gathering supporting documents (invoices, contracts, explanations).
- Ensure correctness, completeness, and standard formatting of submissions coming from different locations.
- Organize and systematize payment data into structured Excel tables for approval.
- Identify missing information or discrepancies and follow up with local teams.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency to reduce risks and prevent financial errors.
Finance Business Process Development and Automatization Project support:
- Support ongoing finance‑related projects across the group.
- Assist with designing, documenting, and improving internal financial control procedures.
- Participate in testing and validating system features (e.g., Jira workflows and future finance control tools).
- Help prepare audit-ready documentation and contribute to process standardization.
- Provide support for new internal systems implementation (including potential future tools still in planning.
Requirements:
- Higher education in Finance related studies;
- Strong Excel skills: confident with formulas, pivot tables, data consolidation.
- Solid analytical and critical‑thinking ability.
- Ability to work with documents, numbers, and structured data with high attention to detail.
- Ability to learn quickly and manage tasks that require precision and consistency.
- Good communication skills and comfort interacting with different teams.
- Good knowledge of Latvian, as well as English language as the company is international and has foreign employees and partners, and the nature of the work requires close cooperation with them.
Compensation:
From 1,300 EUR Gross – 2,400 EUR Gross.
