Financial Analyst

Trevolution / Latvia, Riga

One of our business divisions, operating in the Travel industry projects with over 1 million monthly visitors, is growing really fast, and we are expanding our team. We are looking for an ambitious and self-motivated Financial Analyst.  

Main responsibilities are:

  • Perform financial forecasting, reporting and operational metrics tracking; 
  • Budget/Forecast vs. Actual variance analysis and risk/opportunity tracking (for operational teams budget, operational data, fixed assets); 
  • Prepare cash flow forecast; 
  • Prepare reports and presentations to senior management and shareholders;
  • Participate in a contract approval process: identify contractual financial risks and provide recommendations on amendment of contractual terms and mitigation of risks, if any; work together with the legal team to find the best contractual terms for the company’s needs; in conjunction with local accounting and tax expertise staff, provide analysis on tax issues and cross-border specific;
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes;
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the key drivers of the business in order to derive analysis of the ongoing financial performance;
  • Keep close cooperation with accounting and treasury team. 

What we would expect:

  • Knowledge of financial risk management systems and basics of international taxes;
  • Experience with international agreements and complex purchasing contracts;
  • Skills and experience in work with large, unstructured data volume;
  • Excellent skills in MS Office (especially MS Excel);
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills;
  • Versatile communication style, ability to present data to all levels in the organization making it relevant and suitable to the audience; 

What will give you an advantage:

  • Knowledge of BI tools / Power Query / Python / SQL; 
  • Big4 audit experience will be considered as an advantage. 

Compensation: from 2800 EUR gross till 3600 EUR gross

Genadij received a major in Business Management and started his exciting career at Dyninno as a Travel Agent way back in 2010.

His diligence and ability to reach the best results quickly paid off, and he was promoted to a supervisor role only a year later. After two years of exceptional work, Genadij climbed another big step in his career and became the Travel Training Director, and just six months after, he was promoted again as the head of the whole Travel Sales Department, which he led for almost 3 years.

Now, for the last 6 years, he has taken on the great responsibility of being the Chief Operating Officer of Trevolution Group, where working hand in hand with a team of industry professionals, he constantly drives the Trevolution Group business towards new heights. His priority now and moving further is finding new ways to innovate the existing processes and to nurture the growth of every member of his team.
