Head of AML

We are looking for a Head of Compliance for a Nectaro – the newest addition to a Dyninno group, to upgrade and enhance existing AML processes, making them investor-friendly and suitable for long-term expansion. The role includes ensuring AML regulatory compliance, mitigating financial crime risks, refining policies, providing staff training, and liaising with the regulator.

Nectaro is an online investment platform supervised by the Bank of Latvia, offering individuals the opportunity to earn passive income through investments in loans via financial instruments. Designed with Gen Z and millennials in mind, the platform aims to deliver an unparalleled user experience to all investors. With Nectaro’s cutting-edge technology, investors can easily monitor their investments, track their returns, and adjust their investment strategies in real time.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with international and local regulatory requirements in the AML area.
  • Proactively participate and lead the identification and assessment of ML/TF risks and propose mitigation actions.
  • Develop and maintain AML/CTF policies and procedures in line with evolving statutory and regulatory obligations.
  • Provide internal training, advice and support to employees.
  • Continuously follow AML regulatory environment (regulations and industry practices) and emerging trends and take responsibility in professional self-development in AML/CFT area.
  • Proactively participate in building the next-generation investment platform with your expertise and suggestions.
  • Communicate with the Latvian regulator, including reporting.
  • Perform client (legal and natural) due diligence/enhanced due diligence.

Requirements:

  • Higher educational degree in law or finance.
  • Experience in AML/CFT for at least 3 years.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Latvian languages.
  • Ability to work fast and independently, pay attention to the details and make sound decisions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Structured way of working.
  • Certification in the area would be an advantage.

Compensation:

The starting point for this position is 4,000 EUR gross per month.
