An increasing number of Filipino travelers are choosing business class flights, reflecting a rise in both consumer spending and evolving travel preferences. According to Trevolution Group, a leading travel company, demand for economy class tickets—which accounted for 94% of total bookings—grew by 36% last year, reaching $200.19 million. Meanwhile, business class ticket sales surged by 10.5% to $12.56 million over the same period.
Alex Weinstein, founder of Dyninno Group, Trevolution’s parent company, noted that this sustained travel demand highlights the Philippines’ robust economic growth. Many Filipino travelers, often flying with their families, preferred destinations such as the United States, Hong Kong, and Thailand.
