This innovative approach offers secure transactions and added convenience for tech-forward travelers, supporting popular cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USD Coin, among others. As Skylux pioneers this payment option in the luxury travel space, its parent company, Trevolution Group, plans to extend this digital currency feature across additional travel brands. This expansion is projected to generate over $50 million annually in gross booking revenue from flights purchased with cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency has gained considerable traction in the global travel industry, especially within the multi-billion-dollar “Travel and Hospitality” sector.
