Trevolution Group, a travel division of the Dyninno Group of companies, has announced its commercial results for 2024, highlighting remarkable growth in travel demand to Egypt. The group’s reported gross bookings reached $1,238.64 million, resulting in a 5% increase compared to the previous year. As Egypt implemented several strategic initiatives to stimulate tourism, the demand for tickets to the country surged by 30% compared to 2023, with flights provided by Egyptair seeing a 10% increase.
Key 2024 Highlights:
In 2024, Egypt experienced a record surge in tourism and welcomed over 15 million visitors contributing to unprecedented growth in the sector. Key developments such as the launch of the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo and the “Living 365” campaign targeting travelers from Gulf and Arab markets played a crucial role in driving demand.
Given this, Egypt ranked among the fastest-growing travel destinations for Trevolution Group’s travelers in 2024 alongside the United States, the Philippines, India, Canada, and Italy. The rise in demand was particularly notable among travelers seeking long-haul flights.
Travelers departing from Egypt primarily chose the United States, Saudi Arabia, and the United Kingdom as their top destinations.
Over 92% of travelers traveling to Egypt preferred Economy class, while 8% of travelers chose Business class flights. The number of people traveling one-way rose by 62% compared to 2023, while the demand for round-trip tickets grew by 22%. There was a significant spike in demand for last-minute trips (0-10 days) to Egypt, leading to a 52% increase in demand.
“The country’s strategic investments in tourism infrastructure, coupled with our strong airline partnerships, have made Egypt a more attractive destination than ever before. We are proud to play a role in facilitating travel to Egypt and look forward to further growth in the region,” commented Alex Weinstein, Founder of Dyninno Group.
In 2024, Trevolution Group launched Vagamo, a travel platform for flexible online booking with expert support, and introduced Dreampass, a travel app with Dreampass Plus, a subscription-based loyalty program. Gaining strong momentum since its launch, Dreampass has already attracted over 13,000 members and generated $1.6 million in revenue from Dreampass Plus within six months, reinforcing the group’s commitment to enhancing customer experiences.
