Dreamport is revolutionizing India’s travel industry by attracting numerous independent travel managers, fostering a new era of entrepreneurship. Trevolution Group, a dominant force in the global travel sector and operator of leading brands like ASAP Tickets, Skylux Travel, Oojo, and Triplicity, recently announced an impressive increase in sign-ups for its Dreamport Independent Travel Manager platform. Since its launch in April 2023, Dreamport has attracted over 187,500 freelance professionals globally, eager to establish their careers in the travel domain. Initially rolled out in India, Moldova, and Uzbekistan, the platform is poised for expansion in numerous other regions by year’s end, aiming to support and connect budding Independent Travel Managers.
The platform’s inaugural year saw robust activity, with more than 183,500 ticketing requests handled and upwards of 30,000 flights to 851 destinations facilitated by Dreamport’s Independent Travel Managers, predominantly based in India. This flurry of activity culminated in nearly seven million USD in gross booking revenue. The United States and Canada were the primary departure points, with popular destination choices like Nigeria, India, the Philippines, Ghana, and Italy catering to leisure and visiting-friends-and-relatives travel segments.
