Not Just Price: Passengers to Prioritize Comfort & Sustainability When Booking Travel This Year

The air travel landscape rapidly evolves, introducing new trends and innovations that reshape our travel experiences. Numerous reports indicate that passengers prioritize comfort and sustainability when booking travel in 2023 and continuing into 2024.

The latest study by ASAP Tickets, seen by the International Travel & Health Insurance Journal (ITIJ), revealed that passengers are willing to pay more for more comfortable flights. In a recent survey on consumer travel habits, 93% of air passengers expressed their willingness to pay for in-flight upgrades that enhance convenience and comfort despite the overall increasing cost of travel. The research was conducted by ASAP Tickets and Skylux travel agency services and involved over 1,000 adult respondents. The research revealed that the most sought-after extra among participants was checked-in luggage.
