The company, which operates travel agencies like Asap Tickets, Skylux Travel, Dreamport, and Oojo, achieved total bookings exceeding $117.4 billion. This highlights Egypt’s emergence as a major tourism destination, with a remarkable 46% market growth in 2023.
Egypt’s tourism industry has experienced a rapid recovery post-pandemic, becoming one of the fastest-growing air travel destinations globally. According to the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism, the country welcomed a record-breaking 14.9 million tourists in 2023, marking the busiest travel year yet. This represents a 33% increase in tourist arrivals compared to 2019. The Ministry, along with the private sector and strategic partners, have played a crucial role in this success, paving the way for continued tourism sector development in the years to come.
